Concert: "From Iberia to Anatolia"

Atatürk Kültür Merkezi (İstanbul)
With violinist Ezgi Yürümez (member of the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra), presenting a program that blends the musical traditions of Turkey and Spain. The repertoire includes works by composers such as Ulvi Cemal Erkin, Manuel de Falla, Muammer Sun, and Joaquín Turina. Additionally, the concert will premiere a new composition by Isaac Friedhoff-Calvo and a work by Grammy Award nominated composer Andrea Casarrubios.

The program combines Spanish and Catalan music with piano music from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
This concert is presented in a lecture-recital format, introducing the folk music background behind each of the works.
